Beyond the Algorithm
“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind.”
Romans 12:2 KJV
God’s truth isn’t determined by what trends.

Day 1
Romans 12:2
“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”
Your feed learns what you click and hands you more of the same. Over time that loop can shape what you believe without you noticing. Paul says don’t let the world’s pattern set your mind. Let God renew it.
Think about itWhat is shaping my thinking most right now, and did I choose it?
Day 2
Philippians 4:8
“Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.”
A lot of what trends is built to grab attention, not to be true. Paul gives us a better filter: true, honest, pure, lovely. Run what you take in today through that list.
Think about itIf I put my last hour of scrolling through this verse, what would make it through?
Day 3
Psalm 119:105
“Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.”
An algorithm shows you what’s popular next. God’s word shows you the next right step. You don’t need the whole road lit up, just enough light for where your feet are.
Think about itWhat decision am I facing that I haven’t brought to God’s word yet?
Day 4
Colossians 3:2
“Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.”
Whatever we look at most is where our hearts end up. Screens keep our eyes on things that are gone by tomorrow. Looking up is a choice we get to make again every day.
Think about itWhat would change if God got the first ten minutes of my day before my phone did?
Day 5
Isaiah 40:8
“The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever.”
Trends fade in a week and headlines are old by morning. God’s word has outlasted every empire and every viral moment. It will outlast this one too.
Think about itWhat am I treating as permanent that is really just grass?
Day 6
Psalm 46:10
“Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.”
The feed never runs out of things to show you. God doesn’t compete by being louder. Stillness is where we finally hear Him over the noise.
Think about itWhere can I find five quiet minutes with God this week?
Day 7
2 Corinthians 5:17
“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”
Renewal isn’t a self-improvement project. In Christ, God makes you new, not just a better version of the old pattern. No feed can give you that.
Think about itWhat old pattern am I ready to let God replace?
