The people behind the sound, the screens, and the stream.
You don't notice them when everything works. That's the whole job. Meet the AV team at Windermere Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Mic check. One, two. Is this thing on?
This page is still in the sound booth. Our AV team spends every Sabbath making sure you can hear the sermon, see the slides, and watch from home at Windermere Seventh-day Adventist Church. Building their own page kept getting bumped to "after service." It's coming soon. We promise.
-
Is the livestream working?
Yes. This page isn't yet. We had to pick one, and we picked you hearing the sermon.
-
What does AV actually do?
Sound, slides, cameras, lights, and the livestream. Basically, if it plugs in, they're on it.
-
Can I help?
Yes, please. No experience needed. If you can press a button on time, we can teach you the rest.
Want to serve on the AV team? Join through the Communication page and mention AV in your answers. We'll find you a headset.
Presenting this Sabbath? Help us help you.
A few small things that make a big difference in the booth. Your slides show up, your mic works, and nobody has to say "can you hear me?"
Send it early
Slides, videos, and song lyrics. The earlier we get them, the calmer everyone is.
Download, don't link
Send the actual video file. Church Wi-Fi and YouTube ads are not our friends mid-service.
Say hi to the booth
Come a few minutes early for a quick mic check. It takes 30 seconds and saves a lot.
Point at the mic
Can't hear yourself? Just point. We're watching, and we'll fix it.
